Wednesday Nights
From September through May
You Won't Want to Miss Them!!!!

Every year following Vacation Bible School and Arts Camp there is a spirit of excitement and joy among the children and their leaders. People seem energized! The time together has been enjoyable yet focused, and time has passed quickly. Beginning each September, VBS and summer camps can be experienced every Wednesday night! Each age group (birth-adult) will have their own "track" to follow. Please review these carefully so that you will be familiar with the Wednesday night schedule as it applies to you and/or your family.

Birth - 2

Infants and toddlers will continue under the loving and watchful care of the FBC family.

Ages 3-4

These young children will begin with the church family supper at 5:20. Similar to VBS, the schedule for these children will involve 20-minute sessions with a recreation break. While the 3-year-olds are in their mission story, the 4-year-olds will be involved in their activity. At 6:55 each group will simply "trade places" for the remainder of the evening.

Grades K-5/6

During the church family supper time, an announcement will be made at 5:55 for the children in grades K-6 to gather near the elevator and be escorted to choir rehearsal rooms.

Grade 6

"Sixers" will have their own schedule, too! Following the supper time, they will take part in the Studio 456 choir. At 6:25, they will transfer to a time of mission study and discipleship designed especially for them!

Grades 7-12

Youth in grades 7-12 will meet at 6:00 in the Youth Pod on level 2. For Youth on Mission Together and Youth Following Jesus Today, these combined emphases on missions education and discipleship training will involve hands-on and interactive approaches to Christian development. We will explore ways of demonstrating our faith in our daily lives, and we will work to offer the gifts God has given us to others in our congregation, community and world.

Adults

Adult Prayer Meeting between 6:05 and 6:25 pm is a time for those gathered to voice joys and concerns in fellowship with others. We join together to lift our voices to God at midweek.

From 6:25-7:15 pm, the fellowship hall will be abuzz with an intergenerational Adult Bible study, Missions discussion, or hands-on activity. This is a great opportunity to get to know adults other than your usual Bible study class members.

As you can see, Wednesday nights are going to be fun and creative and reshaped into a more useful and enjoyable time for all! They will be something you will not want to miss! Every person has a place to be on Wednesday night at FBC. If you have not been active in the Wednesday night activities, you may want to reconsider your part in this important time of fellowship and discipleship. Do your best to be a part of this family of faith during the Wednesday night times as we join together in worship, witness, service and fellowship.
