From our earliest recollection of childhood songs like "Jesus Loves Me" and singing hymns in worship experiences, we began creating musical memories for our soul. These memories of "psalms, hymns and spiritual songs" help us through life as we draw upon the scriptural truths and promises of our Lord. The Music Ministry of Fredericksburg Baptist Church offers such experiences through its experiential and educational opportunities.

Why is music so important? So children of all ages may learn to recognize beauty ... to be close to an Infinite beyond this world ... to provide something to cling to ... to help others have more love, more compassion, more gentleness, more goodness - more life. Jesus came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. Through music, we can more fully express and experience the working of God in our lives.

These opportunities are available from September through May each year in conjunction with our Wednesday Evening Church Family Dinner.
