Bible Mystery Challenge
Let's challenge ourselves to reach some goals with respect to some of the elements of our worship:
- Attending Worship
- Praying For Myself and Others
- Bringing Offering
- Attending Sunday School
- Bringing Bible
- Reading Bible/Practicing Memory Verse
- Sharing My Spiritual Gifts (music, missions, serving others…)
Each Sunday, during Sunday School, the SIXERS and the Children's classes in grades K-5 will work together to play a Twenty-Questions-type of game.
A clue will be posted on the scroll in the hallway indicating that the mystery is a PERSON, PLACE, or THING from the Bible. Questions must be asked in a way that allows a YES or NO answer. Choose your questions wisely, because each class gets to ask a certain number of questions. The number of questions is determined by your class goals and whether they were met.
For example: Let's say your goal is to have at least 75% of those PRESENT in your class that day to bring a Bible. If 10 people are present, and 8 brought a Bible, then the class met the goal with 80% bringing a Bible! Then, your class would get to SUBMIT A QUESTION for the mystery challenge.
Teachers and Students: 7 elements are listed above, that can be used to form goals. If you have other goals, and you meet them, you can add to the number of questions that your class can ask!! The sky's the limit!
Each class may GUESS THE ANSWER ONCE each week, but at least one goal must be met to be able to submit an answer. THE CLASS WHO GUESSES CORRECTLY will have their picture and name displayed for the next week! |
